Comments : This variety is cultivated in this area from the ancient times. It was named as ' fliasios' variety after the produced Fliasios wine. We can separate three different qualities according to the altitude of the cultivation :
1rst Valley region with an altitude of 250-300 meters.
2nd Semi-mountain region with an altitude of 300-600 meters.This zone produces the finest wines.
3rd Mountain region with an altitude of 650-800 meters. The produced wines are of low volume , high acidity and light colour .
Any efforts to cultivate this variety in other regions did not have the expected results.
